The extraordinary world of pseudo–science can best be explained through human effort to counteract natural world. Structural defects, abnormalities, and explorations in unattainable worlds of nature immediately conjure up engaging and winsome images. Both John and Martha have brought their artistic talents to Receiver Gallery in what is surely to be a show to question your beliefs.

The 46 is located at 2961 Hwy 32 #46 in Chico and is the art studio/gallery of Dylan Tellesen and Stephen Beebe. The 46 is committed to Wayne Newton and nuclear non-proliferation.

Re:MISSION

•I donated a piece to Re:Mission, a community art project that will benefit children with cancer treated at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. For one evening only, artists worldwide will be featuring their donated works at Thinkspace Gallery in the arts district located in Silverlake, California on Saturday, June 2nd from 6pm – 11pm. Art pieces will be sold at a discount with 100% of the proceeds supporting the cause.

ARTHEADSF @ SWARM

•Take a look at the show.

ARTHEAD is an online blogspot dedicated to providing viewers with written meaning behind the artwork. The blog was created by Nicole Wintermyer, who fell in love with a painting she initially disliked after learning what it meant. A better understanding of the artists intentions may make the viewer feel a stronger connection to the artist or the piece. Having always interpreted art in her own way, Nicole appreciated this insight and initiated artheadsf.blogspot.com for anyone who might also be interested in learning more about the art theyre viewing. ARTHEAD was started in August 2006, and has featured over 40 artists from the Bay Area and around the world including Japan, Australia & Germany. Each piece in Swarm Gallerys ARTHEAD exhibition will be accompanied by a short description written by the artist.
